Coben was an author that I got me into obsessive, read-in-one-day, speed reading thrills. This book was no exception. It has been awhile since I had picked up one of his books and I'm sorry for that.
Right from the start we dive into characters and the plot - there is no time to slowly get into this story.
Like all Coben's books - we are taken on a ride, lifted up, made to look another way and then the big reveal happens.
I read this in one sitting and enjoyed myself. It's like sitting down to watch a movie.... which is exactly what I was looking for.
Overall, highly recommend. I did drop a star because some plot points I did not 'get' - they seemed too out there and puzzle pieces weren't fitting as perfectly as I wished... a lot of these points are focused around Maura.
A wonderful book and I won't hesitate in the future to pick up another one of Harlan Coben's masterpieces.

Hmm not much to say here. I adore Harlan Coben. He really can write a kick-ass thriller. But Don't Let Go compared to his other novels didn't hold up. This was more police procedural than anything else, which can be incredibly boring for me.
Nap is a police officer who is trying to prove his twin brothers suicide was murder. His brother, Leo, was found on train tracks with his girlfriend in an apparent suicide/accidental death when they were teens. Now 15 years later more unusual deaths & dissaperances are occurring to people who were close to Leo and his girlfriend. Nap knows this is no coincidence. But what exactly happened to his brother and his friends 15 years ago? Why are more people dying 15 years later? That's what Nap is determined to find out.
Don't get me wrong the story is decent and I didn't exactly see the twist coming which was wrapped up in just a few paragraphs in the last chapter. This one just wasn't for me.

Starts off so very strong but falls apart by the cheesy and implausible ending
