I actually don't know how to rate that. Cause I kind of blacked out on it. I wasn't always listening that attentively. Anyway I don't think it was really for me because I didn't learn a lot I didn't already know but I feel like it would still be good to the target audience. So I guess not for me but okay.

I read this on a whim since it was short and free with my Audible subscription. I loathe the word “adulting”, but there were good insights in this book!

As with all of Dr. Faith’s work, this audiobook is easy to follow, written in relatable language (unless you strongly dislike swearing), is backed by much research and is absolutely inclusive. On top of her accolades and long career, she is also a Mom of kids who are just reaching adulthood. Each section is super short and to the point - and most are vast, varied derivatives if “don’t be a dick”. Many contain real-life examples to further clarify. I heartily recommend this book to adults of all ages.

The audiobook is read fabulously by the author.

I'm 33, and grew up with a social worker as a dad who was woke about a lot of this stuff, so for me it was a lot of really good reminders about things. I think it's a great book for any adult, and especially kids getting out there on their own in their teens and 20's. easy to read, straight up advice, I look forward to reading more of her books that might go deeper into a couple of these adulting skills to improve my awareness and "the practice of being my best self.
