I just need to know if what happened is possible, that's all...

This was a lot, but I actually liked it. RTC when I get my shit together after this book.

I don’t know what has possessed me to read two separate extreme horror books in 24 hours, but I’ve done it, and I have some regrets.

This was… wow. I am not even sure what to say. Two people in a hotel room swapping increasingly horrible stories with one another, leading to… a thing. A thing that happens. And said thing made my entire body clench. Not for the faint of heart, and PLEASE read the trigger warnings, because it is gruesome. Not sure what kind of rating to give because it was truly messed up, and I feel like giving it a high rating is me encouraging a lot of people to read it, and this is definitely not one I would recommend to most people.

If you are looking for something shocking, look no further. If you are looking for something to satisfy “spooky season” I am not sure this is what you want.

For fans of books like Tender is the Flesh and Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke.

Seriously though, trigger warnings.

This book was devastating and horrific. However, it kept my attention and left me wanting to piece together the stories shared.

So like was it wild? Yes. Did it make me go what the fuck? Absolutely more than once. This book did not hit me nearly as hard as I thought it would. This is not a brag. I expected it to be a lot more gruesome and now I’m worried that I’m just really fucked up that this just makes me go ok. Now that ending wild. I did get a feeling that that’s where it was headed (pun intended) but damn lol. 3.5 stars cause it definitely kept my attention but at the end of the day, in my opinion, it was mid.
