In a word, 'The Dallergut Dream Department Store' is charming. Beautifully understated character development and storytelling brings this dream world to life. At many times, I was Penny, so much in awe of every dreammaker's purpose and the impact of dreams in our lives - how we make meaning of our experiences and can receive messages we need to help us live in the present. I don't think I'll look at dreams the same again!

This book reads like anime which I guess makes sense, and not necessarily in a bad way. It was interesting, but probably not something I’d recommend to a friend.
