I love this series, and seriously a book that will suck you in. I can't get enough of the highlanders in these books. I love the idea of being transported to the past and then falling in love. Yes there is intense unknown, but oh so good anyway.

Karen Moning has quickly become one of my favorite authors ever!! She has a way with words that drags you in. I wasnt sure I would like a medieval warrior genre'd book but this one was absolutely perfect! Cant wait to read the next

I recently started watching Outlander and ended up binging the first 5 seasons in a week. I wanted a time traveling romance and remembered reading and loving this series.
The first 15% was very slow and I wasn’t connecting with anything. Right after that 15% mark everything came together and I connected with both of the main characters. I really enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down.

I really enjoyed this novel. If you have read the Fever series, this is nothing like it, but a great romantic romance read for those who enjoy “old-school”-type romance novels.
