This is the second in the Lost Boys series and is a standalone, but the books are so good I'd suggest reading them in order. I loved everything about this book, Walker's adventure into discovering who he is with Ozzie was fun to read and had nice steamy bits.

cute

This was all kinds of sugary sweetness with just the right amount of heat. Oz and walk were great. I loved the insight of Walk figuring himself out. I really enjoyed the whole lost boys vibe and idea. We could all use a friend group like theirs

I'm CRUSHing this series. These Lost Boys totally have my heart πŸ©·πŸ’šπŸ’•

Book two of the Lost Boys series is THE CRUSH, and if you're looking for an "in your 30s" bi or gay awakening, then look no further.

Oz(zy) and Walker find their hea in this story, and it's so hard won. Walker. This man. I may not identify the same way he does, but I DO identify with learning who you are in your 30s. So much of his story resonated hard with me.

Ozzy is an original Lost Boy. He runs a bar with his bestie and has been slowly pining for his friend Walker, his "straight" friend. Walker is the new Mr. Paige, and teaches geometry & shop at the high school. He works himself into the ground with no boundaries with his family, and all his spare time is spent with the Lost Boys. He also stares at Ozzy's butt. A lot.

This book was absolutely wonderful and equally difficult to read. What Walker goes through isn't uncommon, but it remains heartbreaking when ANYONE experiences it.

The way he handles his knew knowledge of himself is so wholesome and lovely. There is no panic, just acceptance. I wish he had that reaction from his family - but it's an unrealistic hope, even for a fictional character.

Walker and Ozzy were an absolute treasure to read.

πŸ’• found family perfection
πŸ’š it isn't gay to stare at my friend's thighs, is it?
🩷 ... or daydream about ------- those thighs, right?
πŸ’• Ozzy's parents
πŸ’š the Heartstopper moment
🩷 the adventure to and at the Rainbow Note

"BE BRAVE FOR ME."
*I died*

I loved this book, and I loved Ozzy and Walker. I absolutely encourage you to start this series. At least add it to your tbr!

I really liked the dynamic in this one and I enjoy this author’s writing. I was a little afraid that the conflict in this book would be really predictable but it was done in a way that I didn’t see coming.
