So good. I can't wait to read the hard copy. Narration was excellent except that Aisha's changing accent was distracting.

4.5* rounded up for this wonderful collection of interconnected short stories. Only one or two fell a little flat and I found that I connected with the characters and wanted to know more about them and their lives.

**This is a book club read for December 2023 for the General Book Club**
This novel was chosen as the book of the month for our local book club and I can't wait to discuss this novel with others. It was beautifully written, featured great imagery through the words and I loved the authenticity of the culture mentioned. I feel like we don't hear many stories from people of color in a way that represents them with 0 stereotypes. This story presented multiple characters, and had a way of tying all of them together flawlessly and I loved that it did. Seeing people's lives sewn into one web of diversity is so beautiful to see.
