Interesting and creative, but a bit unwieldy in spots. Miéville is always a challenging author, but this book leans a bit too far in that direction. Still, the concept and plotting are masterful as his books always are.

The writing did not work for me. I had difficulty following the story. I stopped reading at page 10. Life is too short and I have too many other books to read.
