After meeting Zeke in the last book I was stoked that he had his eye on Sophie even with her 2 hyper twins. Not only do we get to see Zeke and Sophie's budding relationship grow but also learn more about them both as well as see her trading post start to take shape. There are plenty of laughs with Zeke offering up to be Sophie's babysitter, good lord I laughed at Odette's large knitted sock and when you learn of his secret you can feel his vulnerability along with see why Sophie is so hesitant to look at Zeke as more than a babysitter.
