This is the second boom in the Bayside Heroes series. This story follows the love store of Dr. Larsen Belle, a psychiatrist and Dane Owens, a hospital security guard. They both don’t do relationships, and what starts off as a casual tryst in a hospital storage room turns into so much more. They’re both damaged from their upbringing and they’ve built these strong walls around themselves to avoid personal attachments to shield themselves from getting hurt again. But what starts in a storage room becomes so much more. This book was a beautiful story, but I would have loved a bit more spiciness.

This was definitely a fab read. Larsen really stole the show for me, I con enter with her so much. Highly recommend this standalone in a series

It was a great quick, easy, funny, light-hearted read. The characters were nice. There was a good development of their relationship mixed with a few other plot points. Everything centered on their relationship so there wasn't too much else happening in the book. I'll definitely keep my eye out for more by this author.
