i liked it better in book one where we could figure out the clues along with the main character and i actually solved the case, but this solution came out of the blue and wasn’t hinted at, which :/
okay honestly, this was better than the first book!!
is it weird of me to like jamie….?
is it weird of me to like jamie….?
whoa! that was gripping!!
it wasn’t better than the first book. in fact some aspects were ehhhh idk how i felt about a story about catfishing lol. but it was thrilling listening more of the audiobook to discover what actually happened to jamie.
the conclusion wasn’t as satisfying as the first book but i liked it nonetheless.
so glad jamie was alive!!!
the whole story of stanley forbes / jack brunswick was sad af tho. people could be so mean. HE WAS A CHILD!!!! he was basically coerced by his dad to help in all his serial killings ugh.
i wonder if witness protection program like the one stanley had exists in indonesia? i guess it does. but this country is so out of wack i’m not surprised if they don’t care about the well being of such people in need of a program like that.
anyway how stupid could one person be??? jamie??? srsly?? you fell for a girl after chatting with her online!! bffr.
oh and i loved the small and subtle moments between ravi and pip throughout the whole thing. him always touching her neck or head or hair or cheek whenever they’re around together. gotta love him.
in all i enjoyed this!!!

I have now read two books by Holly Jackson, and she remains amazing! The way she keeps you wanting more keeps you needing to know more about Pip and everyone else. The pages practically turn themselves almost effortlessly, and suddenly the whole day passes, but that’s okay because you’re here with a Holly Jackson book, which leaves you feeling curious, distraught, sad, hopeful, and every emotion you have ever experienced. Pip really needs to look after herself more, and just like Pip, I think I also need therapy after reading this. Literally an exceptional book.
