gagged by the amnesia plot line, when I saw that se profiler à l'horizon, I was GAGGED
juste, boo kelly the cop mais bon

Just like Robbie, I had no clue what happened and was blissfully living in Caswell with Ezra and co. I received huge fanfic angst vibes and lived for it haha. Like Robbie, I wanted to cry and distrust everyone bc yknow maybe Ezra is good(?). Ya, no, maybe not after what he did in the east coast. Kelly and Robbie were so cute with ace rep. Now I just want to read the next book and all the drama that will ensue. :)

"Memories are funny things. I carried them like scars."

If I could pick just one book to completely erase from my mind and read it for the first time again, it would be this one. The number one thing I look for in a book is that it makes me feel something- whether that's joy, heartbreak, comfort, or utter devastation. And holy shit did this book make me feel everything.

Simply put, Heartsong is a truly phenomenal read - very likely going to be my favorite of 2025. This book is pure emotional damage from the very beginning. It is devastating and hilarious and oh so fucking beautiful. TJ klunes writing style is stunning. He breaks every writing "rule" out there and brings it all together into a work of art. He treats time like a jump rope, weaving the past, present, and future together in a way that left me stunned. He plays on emotions like a damned instrument, more than once leaving me cracking up in between sobs.

Heartsong earned it's five stars by page 100 and then continued to earn it over and over again.

I am still in complete shock over the absolute mind fuck that Robbie goes through in this book, and to have it written in a way where you as the reader experience it with him, slowly piecing it together left my jaw on the floor. Im officially obsessed with the memory wipe trope thanks to this book, but I fear nothing will ever do it as well as this did. And starting where the story did was diabolical and genius and fucking perfect.
