Very interesting to examine the changes that Spidey is going through, but the character design/artwork is sometimes iffy, like verging on cartoonish at times (see The Avengers who appear in the current run).

I had heard this was great, but I wasn't expecting it to be quite this good (Spider-Man has never been my favorite character). Can't wait to read vol 2.

Now this is perfect. I'm going to devour this series; it's everything you could ask for in a comic book: hilarious, great-looking, and well-plotted. Can't wait to read more.

This is an interesting graphic novel.

This is about Dr. Octopus taking over Peter Parker's body. It is about him trying to keep peters life similar and trying to get Peter a Master's degree. While he's doing all of this he is trying to be a better Spider-man than Peter ever was.

I liked this but one of the reasons I like Spider-Man is the funny wit and jokes that come when Peter is fighting crime and this Spider -Man just was not. Now I know its because it is not really Peter Parker anymore and that it is Doc Oct. Doc Oct is a more serious character but it was a little hard to used to that. I really did enjoy the story and what was going on.

I love what this was trying to do. It was a fun story but I just have to get used to reading this with a more serious Spider-Man.

Not nearly as interesting as I expected it to be. Doc Ock is tedious and one dimensional. I was originally excited to read this series but now I will backburner it as I move on to other books.

Spider-Man as anti-hero? Nope. Not really my thing. I know, I know, it's not really...but c'mon...way too much violence on top of the lame plot. I didn't need this.

Firstly, what a good name for a volunme. But nothing here really stands out, the art isn't amazing and neither is the writing. Like c'mon, its all about rival coke business. But I'm gonna keep reading because I've only heard good things about this run
