Tanjiro is so kindhearted, and the portrayal of his relationship with his little sister Nezuko is so sweet. The concept of the story is really clever, and the elements of gore and violence are thrilling but not too disturbing, so you are gripped throughout.
This was my first manga that I have ever read, and I will be reading more. I highly recommend to fans of the anime, manga and comics in general- you will not be disappointed.
Moderate: Child death, Death, Violence, Blood, and Injury/Injury detail

This may be a triggering manga if you have taken care of a loved one in peril, or have witnessed the death of a family member.bujo_bellel's review against another edition

kimetsu no yaiba is also refreshingly family-centric and esp non-misogynistic, a seemingly low bar but significant feat in shounen, undoubtedly the author's identity being an important factor. this series is the first that got me from anime to manga instead of the other way around, and im excited to see how the og goes (and ends!).
