Medieval Suicide Squad - fucking fantastic concept! But, the weak worldbuilding and generic characters really underwhelmed me. Hopefully gets better in future issues!

So this is basically medieval Suicide Squad.

Ok, I'm here for it.

This is an interesting new series. Admittedly, what originally caught my attention was the striking cover. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this series. The first issue was pretty decent, but only time will tell how long it'll run or hold my interest. I do enjoy the tone on the whole, and have several questions about the main characters.

Doesn't particularly grab me. I'm not quite sure why. Give it a try.

Happy to have this one back on my comic store tab! Grimdark fantasy at its finest. A few too many f-bombs had me drop a star (I can deal with it mostly, but it’s just distracting at the best of times). That aside though? I love that they started with Essen Breaker. Really interested to see what’s going to happen next!
