3.75 stars. Quickie review: This was a super cute ending to this series. I really enjoyed Gibson and his lady's story. It was entertaining, fun, sexy, sweet and had a great mystery with good resolution. He had one jerky moment, but otherwise I really enjoyed this book. I have loved this series and it's quirky small town feel. I was sad to see it end.

A wonderful ending to the Bootleg Springs series. All the loose ends are tied up--though there's a wonderful epilogue short story available for download.
I liked finally getting inside Gibson's head and seeing what makes him tick. We also get to meet a woman that balances and understands him.
Plenty of good spice as well as some actual action-adventure near the end. Bootleg Justice!

I thought it was a great ending to the series! Finding out that Callie’s mom is the one who is the actual abuser and the judge just let it happen is screwed up. The reason I’m not giving a higher rating is because the writing for the first half of the book doesn’t meet my expectations like the second half did. Still phenomenally well done for a Claire Kingsley book.

Nice ending to this series. Glad that the mystery got solved. I thought the couple was fine, but felt rushed and forced at times. I’m going to miss Bootleg and their cute little town.
