Very strong ideas, I found it really hard to follow at times because of the vague plot points. I did a mix of listening to and reading this book and found neither helped with my understanding of certain parts. It really picks up after the first half. I really liked how the idea is that we will live in a society where we will burn anything that doesn’t make us happy to the point of having pretty much nothing

i really enjoyed this book, and i think it was the writing style that really pulled it all together. it created a nice atmosphere and mood, yet didn’t unnecessarily stretch out the plot/length of the book. i would’ve went in depth with symbolism and whatnot, but i felt it was enjoyable as just a simple read.

Wow! This book really surprised me. When I first read this book sometime in upper elementary or middle school, I didn't really understand it for what it was. I couldn't see through a lot of the flowery language and metaphors (a warning for those who struggle with this). However, now that I'm a bit older, I can appreciate it for all that it is.

It's ironic that this book about banning and burning books is a banned book itself, but I bet the reasons why are because of the use of profanity and the

ripping out of pages of the Bible by Montag

.

I would recommend this to pretty much anyone as long as they are mature.
