This book is kinda meh.
First red flag of this book was at the start when the author repeated the word “self-care” way too many times to get her point across.

There’s a lot of tips but none that’s mind blowing and it’s all stuff we’ve learnt before. Journal, make a morning routine, unplug from social media etc.,

You have to be in a certain mindset to fully appreciate this book and sadly, I wasn’t there. Right now, the spells feels really wishy-washy for me.

Better to flip through this to find what you need in the moment instead of reading it chronologically. Take it with a pinch of salt.

I appreciate that the author talks about meditation beyond sitting still. I'm a big believer in active mindfulness meditation while focusing on a single task or while taking a walk in nature!

Another reference book for the craft! Always fun for activities and spell work. Not really for beginners, just because it’s not going over any basics but that’s okay.

A fun little book filled with mantras and ideas on how to reconnect with the energies and the world around you as self care. Lots of little craft ideas and “recipes”.

Love this author. Has a lot of great ideas of ways to be more mindful, spiritually and generally speaking. I really liked the affirmations, and the prayer bead craft made from flower clay beads sounds cool. Will have to try that
