This book was even better than book one! While I still thoroughly enjoyed book one, this one felt much more original. The slow burn was slowww and I ate it up. This was such a fun read! The ending set up book two perfectly and I’m so excited to dig into that one (SO grateful to have also received an ARC for that one because I need to read it pronto). While some moments still felt a little cliche or fanfic-y like book one, this book was definitely an improvement compared to book one! The pacing was good and while the story definitely focusses on the romance, the plot was still strong and much more unique than book one. So so excited for book two!

Wat heb ik ontzettend genoten van dit boek! Dit boek begint waar het vorige deel eindigde. Ook dit deel las weer ontzettend vlot weg. Dit kwam vooral door de korte hoofdstukken en de wisselende pov's. 

Dit deel bevat ook veel meer spice, tension and romance. Zo heeft dit boek de one horse trope en is het echt een enemies to lovers! Er was wel één pov die ik niet zo leuk vond, maar dit was wel een belangrijk pov voor de worldbuilding.

Dit boek was echt ontzettend anders dan het eerste deel, maar dit is zeker niet iets slechts. Wat ik leuk vond aan dit deel was dat het veel meer romance bevatte, maar in verhouding viel hierdoor voor mijn gevoel het plot een beetje weg. Maar de laatste 20% was echt geweldig. Ik zat op het puntje van mijn stoel en ik moest weten hoe het afliep! Kan nu al niet wachten op het derde deel!
