i read this book when i was in primary school and i absolutely adored it. and i was lying in bed, sick with covid, when it suddenly came back to me and i had an intense urge to just want to read it again. and i did, and boy, i loved it just as much as my younger self once did. it was amazing, it kept me intrigued and little alice was so endearing and cute, i related to her on many different levels. 
( i also met the author when i was younger and she signed some of the books i had from her, it was crazy) , but i still love her even now. it's a good reminiscent of my childhood.

nostalgia read! favourite cathy cassidy book ever, i think. though it’s not quite a retelling, i love all the switches in POV. i especially love books that switch from ‘then’ and ‘now’.

Gostei mesmo muito deste livro! Aborda o tema do bulliyng e acho que todos deviam ler, crianças, por volta dos 12-15 anos e adultos que lidem com crianças nesta faixa etária, para estarem mais sensibilizados para este problema.
