I liked this one

I unfortunately don’t much enjoy Agatha Christie’s. This is probably more like a 2 star read. The audiobook voice actor was also kind of horrendous. There were way too many characters with nothing interesting or clear to distinguish them and the resolution is altogether too fantastical and confusing with all these fake identities.

This was a pretty mediocre read with a lot of language that has not aged well. The mystery was pretty clever, but the characters were all pretty annoying. Nonetheless decently entertaining.

There’s a lot going on in this book, and that’s what makes it so fun to read. It kept me guessing the whole time. I did manage to figure out who the villain was in the end, but it took a bunch of twists to get there. So many characters seemed suspicious!

Miss Marple was, as always, such a joy to follow. I love how calm and thoughtful she is, but also how warm and kind she stays while solving the case. That’s one of the things I always enjoy about her stories.

This is definitely one of my favorite Miss Marple mysteries. It took me a while to finish (hahaha), but I really loved it. Would totally recommend it to anyone who likes classic mysteries.
