I can recognize that this is a well-done book but I really did not enjoy it
A little disturbing, but always entertaining. I picked this up on a whim and really enjoyed it.
DNF I tried but *sigh* reading this was like a chore, I wasn't creeped out I wasn't disgusted I was BORED, maybe it's because I gave up too soon? I don't know I'll try reading it again but for now I just cannot. 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn't finish and I can't give something 1 star until I finish.
All I remember about trying to read this book (almost ten years ago) is that it made me feel vaguely nauseated the entire time I read it. I don't even remember exactly what it was (the character descriptions, maybe?), but I do not have any desire to try reading it again.
Fabulous book. One of the only ones I've ever remembered reading that was beautiful and disturbing at the same time.
