First Colleen Hoover I've DNF.

This book was something. Even though it was easy to read, it was like watching a train wreck - you feel uncomfortable staring yet you're somehow mesmerized and want to know what happens next. I think this book was trying to bite off more than it can chew - dealing with too many problems/secrets (and some of them were so cringeworthy), comparing bad eye sight to depression and presenting them as equal flaws and for the grand finale - not solving anything (unless the solution to all humanity's problems is therapy).

So many feelings in this book. It feels like the drama and secrets in this family could be real and I'm just watching it through Merits eyes. It's such an important conversation that this book covers. With moments of sweetness and absolute horror too, just wow.

Tja, was soll ich sagen.
