This book was everything I wanted it to be and more. Lucian and Sloane have my entire heart. It’s weird to say, but I loved how much they hated each other really proving a romance can be enemies to lovers and how much they despised each other made it so much worth it when they finally started to get together. This is my favorite of the series and I wish there was more book.

Lucy Score! Why did you make me fall in love with these people. The enemies to lover arc was everything. This was perfect. Lucian freaking Rollins and Sloan Walton are my favorite Knockemout couple. This series got me into small town romances

Loved it!
Okay, this was a wonderful ending to this series. I really enjoyed the whole thing. I didn’t think I could like Lucien or his story the best - but I did. And I could totally see myself being friends with Sloane in real life. I’ll be sad not to read about this group of friends anymore!

I started reading this series because one of my students was reading the first book in this series. I was curious as to why a seventh grader was reading a contemporary adult novel. Although I am a little concerned about what my students are reading, I was introduced to a lovely and heartwarming series. This review is an overall for the series, as well as TWLB.
One of my favourite things in this series was the self-awareness. The references to the book titles within the prose and some other witty jokes really made me feel like I was in on an inside joke. Something about the character's drew me in, and I finished this book series in only a few days.
Things We Left Behind is my favourite book in the Knockemout trilogy. It had me on the edge of my seat and I didn't want to put the book down. I loved Lucian and Sloane's dynamic, and I especially loved how they had a history that the other two books lacked. I felt like Sloane and Lucian knowing each other since they were young filled the 'childhood friends to enemies to lovers' hole I didn't know I was missing.
I really felt for Lucian and Sloane, even though some of the cliche's in this book. It was something digestible and made me feel a little empty upon finishing the bonus epilogue. I am happy everyone had a good ending and everyone was happy.

I feel like there were moments when too much was said when there were also moments when things were just missing. But maybe that’s just me. I did enjoy the book but you know, it could have been better!
