What a delight. A mystery with a heaping side of romance is just my jam.

(this is a kisses only romance - no open door scenes)

Rounded to 4.5 stars. Aiden and Juniper, who have history, unknowingly become roommates.

This was such a fun book. First, the cover is gorgeous. Second, the story was fun and sweet and nothing what I expected although I did figure out the twist. Third, some sentences in the book are just beautifully written. Definitely in my top 10 books I’ve read this year. I’ll read the second in the series.

Found the humor quite enjoyable and the scenes easy to visualize. The dual first-person point of view was okay (better than some I've read), and even the fact that it was in present tense didn't grate on my nerves too badly most of the time... although... I really wish the trend would die out.
I wasn't totally drawn into Juniper's story or the mystery, though, and I found the rom-com elements to be fairly run-of-the-mill. Still, an interesting mish-mash of genres.

The cover and title drew me in. The story kept me turning the pages. That was a fun story with some depth as well.

3.5ish. I liked but didn’t love it. Curious about #2.
