First things first, this Free Comic Book Day offering from Marvel has nothing to do with the blockbuster movie currently out in theaters with a similar name, nor do I think it has much to do with the previous [b:Civil War|91714|Civil War (Marvel Civil War Collection)|Mark Millar|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1345813608s/91714.jpg|577888] event. That aside, it just wasn't terribly interesting, and unlike [b:Secret Wars #0|25749507|Secret Wars #0 (FCBD 2015)|Jonathan Hickman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1439008869s/25749507.jpg|45240294], Marvel's Free Comic Book Day offering from last year, it did not do its job of getting me excited for the upcoming event.

I loved it so much. The art is amazing and I loved it the characters. It is way better than the movies.
I want to see more of these characters which didn’t exist in the movies

I thought I'd read this as I understood it to be an entry point for the Civil War II event, but if it is then it's not a very good one. It confusingly dumps you into the middle of something with no introduction and is very short. I don't think it's the best hook that Marvel could've published for FCBD to get people into the Civil War II event. I'm going to try reading the main event line this time, I think, and see how I find it.

Civil War II no me llama la atención pero tiene que ver con Thanos, ya han comprado a la parte de mí que ama sufrir.

A non-conflict conflict that's based on bias and prejudice. The plot lacks depth and doesn't offer strong arguments for each side. Its flimsy at best and morally wrong at worst.

The free comic book day edition of Civil War II is free on Marvel's website. I encourage you to read Civil War II #0 before this but to read this before you read #1. This entire arc is being set up because an inhuman can now see the future events before they happen. The Inhumans and Ultimates think this is a great way to stop possible destruction before it ever happens while Iron Man has some serious issues with it. Something happens in this FCBD edition that is super important to this entire story. It is glossed over in the first issue but this FCBD issue shows it in more detail. Pretty good. Art isn't as strong as the other issues after it though.
