I love the Perfectly Imperfect series, so of course I dove into the first Mafia Legacy book that deals with the new generation. In this one, Roman and Nina's daughter Vasilisa is a hacker that gets kidnapped by a member of the Cosa Nostra, Rafael, after she hacks his system. He has her taken to Italy where he hires her to fix the whole thing and make it hacker proof.
Rafael is physically and emotionally scarred and he finds himself attracted to the the vivacious, beautiful Vasilisa, who has spent her life being seen as a trophy to be won. They are both strong and stubborn and I loved seeing their relationship develop almost as much as I loved seeing Roman and Nina, the couple from the first Perfectly Imperfect book, as parents.
Neva Altaj's books are my go-to romances. The men are hardcore possessive, the women strong, and the spice is amazing. May this be the first of many of the new generation!

Definitely a good read with good old fashioned over the top protective male leads and a plucky female lead. I'd recommend if you like forces proximity and a FMC with a back bone that's tough enough to withstand a crazy over the top MMC.
