Mr Masters is hotttttt

This super uptight judge meets his match when carefree Brielle walks through his door as the live-in nanny. Julian knows exactly how he is going to live the rest of his life, grumpy, alone, and with a slew of high end prostitutes but Brielle brings in a truck full of chaos which Julian can't stay away from.

Brielle did take some time to get used to but all of a sudden I just adored her. I loved her outspoken personality and spur of the moment attitude. She never wants to waste a moment of life and I appreciated how she showed her worth during the conflict stage. That's one thing TL Swan does really well is making the characters fight for themselves during the conflict scenes and meeting in the middle instead of one caving after a glance across the kitchen table.

As their story progressed I definitely became more intrigued and fell in love with the characters as I saw them go through their ups and downs. Willow's story alone with Julian was just so touching and it shows that children in storylines can have such a massive impact to another development when they are established into the story and not just an added extra.

I read the Miles High Club series first and you can definitely tell there has been a change or growth in TL Swan's writing. It was slightly stilted with the time jumps but I still thoroughly enjoyed Brielle and Julian's story.

You all know that I definitely love a good age-gap/forbidden romance. I don’t know what it was about this book but something was missing for me?! I don’t know if it’s because I’ve read so many forbidden age gap books that I’m starting to get picky but I just felt like something was off. That is not to say that it wasn’t a good read because it definitely was but would I go back and read it again or shelve it as a favourite? I don’t think so....

The sex scenes? Damnnn

DID NOT FINISH

Couldn’t deal with the audiobook, there was a lot of sexual tension but it was just that ? I didn’t feel the same chemistry as the other books I’ve read, Tristan in the last one especially
