Amazing read! All of T. L Swan books gets better and better! I love how Julian had to refund himself and let his demons go! Can’t wait to read about Spence and seb!

This was supposed to be palette cleanser book after Fourth Wing. Omg why was the MMC the worst?? I DNFd it at 90%

I really enjoyed the book over all! My only critique is that I wish the characters had a bit more depth. There was a lot of potential to expand on the traits and history of Bree, Julian, and even to expand more on the ending. I also noticed that some of the explicit scenes were so similar that it was like they were copied and pasted between chapters. However, the plot was good and I honestly couldn’t put it down!

La traducción tan terrible no me permite darle más puntuación. Es una historia "sin más" que queda bastante deslucida.

2.5 stars.

Enjoyable enough to finish but I did gloss over a lot .

This man has the emotional intelligence of a breadstick and she is brash (which was only charming sometimes). Seemingly a theme as the characters in book 2 are the same.

They could never just have a discussion, it was always a shouting match with excessive sneering and screaming declarations and it drove me insaneeee. Most of the time i felt frustrated by their actions towards each other.

TL Swan does know how to write good spice though… would definitely point people in the direction of the Miles High club series instead.

This is now my third book of Swan’s and I can officially say I’m a big fan. I appreciate her writing style and her depictions of relationships so much because they’re relatable. The baggage and occasional toxicity is genuinely relatable to actual life experiences that I’ve had. I can imagine plenty of people feel that way. In my opinion, it makes the story so much more enjoyable. I don’t wanna read about a perfectly rainbows and sunshine relationship, I want the real deal. Relationships get complicated and messy. Often times we just don’t know what we’re doing, and Swan really does that so well.

I realized halfway through that it appears these books have shared characters, and that made it really fun to have something to pull from The Stopover in The Takeover since I just finished those this week. I’m curious to know how much of her writing has connected characters like that.

You know The Nanny with Fran Drescher? This book was like a fun and dirty spinoff that TV series. I loved it! I absolutely adored Brielle as a MC. Her personality and the banter amongst the family was spot-on. This book was just good for the soul. And the spice was EVERYTHING! Very much my style. Special mention for Frances as she was my favorite side character. Everyone needs a mother-in-law like her.

Fabulous read overall my friends, I recommend!
