Rogan and Harper are that #couplegoals you want in your life. They were so cute and I loved how Rogan always put her first. I usually don’t like when the past is presented in the whole book, but somehow it was okei this time. I feel like I needed to understand their history and why they were broken up. I loved Rogan and how he always thinks before acting. It was really a good character. And about Harper, I liked that she was such a strong character. She really had a rough life experience but somehow she found herself again and the strength she needed to go forward. It was a really nice book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars and I’m looking forward for the next book.

The characters are so lovable, and of course it’s the best when you’ve been introduced to them in the prior book of the series. I can’t wait to start up the next one!

Really loving this series!
I loved the second chance, hate-to-love element. Only knocked off a star because it can get real cheesy at times.

This just wasn’t my kind of series! I read the first book and it was okay. Tried to read the 2nd but I got 50% through and decided to give it up. Megan is one of my absolute favorite authors so this has nothing to do with her, I just don’t think this was my speed! Her other series are SOOO much better and sooo good!

Harper is back in her hometown 7 years after her engagement ended with her childhood best friend. But of course it’s a small town and Rogan is everywhere. Harper wants to move on and see Rogan as little as possible. And Rogan wants to get the girl back. So he makes sure to insert himself where he can and show Harper how much he has grown.

Meghan. I just love what you write. This one does not disappoint. It is the ultimate second chance with friends-to-lovers-to enemies-to friends again. And the journey these characters go on to get their happily ever after is just beautiful. This has past and present with dual POV and you get to feel the love and heartbreak from both sides. Rogan loves his girl even if he thinks it’s too far in the past. When we get to see all the things he has done and the groveling he does, I just love him.

This book has been out for awhile and I read book one before 2019 with Kindle Unlimited when it would track. And I cannot wait to get back to Port Snow. Especially since the audio is included in Listen and Read.

Rogan and Harper's story is long and complicated. The book jumps back and forth between when they dated in high school/college and the present. The two timeline format is not my favorite. I also prefer books that are a bit more lighthearted, so I didn't love this one. I do think it was better than the first one in the series - the banter between all of Knightly siblings was better than in the first book (that was my favorite part).

Compared to the rest of the series: The first two books have a lot of conflict/tension before the couple gets together, the third and fourth books don't have much conflict/tension. The third and fourth books have more humor than the first two. The third one is the steamiest of the entire series. The fourth book is a slow burn.
