I read an ARC that was a bit less finished than I expected—some missing words and panels, but I also felt like the story wasn’t finished. There are so many loose ends that I had hoped to see resolved, because these characters were so easy to get invested in. I loved the “Brief History of…” pages where we got some backstory and characterization.
But the ending frustrated me… So now they all hate each other and go to different schools and never talk? They’re all very sad all the time? And that’s the end? Couldn’t be further from what I expected when I picked up the book.
