I'm giving this one star because of the artwork, but I disliked absolutely everything else about it, from the way the characters were introduced, to the plot, to the characters' personalities and the group's dynamics, and obviously to the ending.

This graphic novel left me feeling frustrated and disappointed and dejected.

Rich, dense with Nicole Goux & Dave Baker’s extreme attention to detail. Each page is filled with small interactions and every little detail of the characters. I was interested to read about a friend group that ultimately falls apart- messy disaster high school teens navigating being queer and being forced into their Christianity/religion. They do schemes, it falls apart. Doesn’t actually end well interestingly enough, one of those “journey” stories rather than focusing on the “destination” (aka the ending in this case).
