One of my favorite graphic novels I've read in a while. I like the fact that the story went with a bit of an unconventional narrator, which flips the perspective on a lot of familiar characters. The art is spectacular, and I absolutely love all the non-conventional layouts that more or less eliminate the conventional panel-based storytelling system.

Para empezar, el arte es hermoso, puedes sentir tanto el frío como el calor en las páginas. Me encantó. Respecto a la historia, tiene algunos momentos emotivos y reflexiones que lograron captar mi atención y realmente hacerme pensar. Siempre me han gustado las historias que ponen a prueba la moral de Batman y muestran como su figura puede ser tan contradictoria. Esta historia en particular no se queda corta pero tampoco siento que aporte algo muy diferente a la mesa, aunque lo que realmente es llamativo aquí es la intertextualidad con Charles Dickens. Para ser honesto, solo estoy consciente del concepto de _Una historia de navidad_ mas nunca la he leído y quizá por eso no pude disfrutar tanto esa parte. En fin, no me arrepiento de haberla leído y me gustó la moraleja.

I was so confused the whole time. I was waiting for a “ohhh I get it now” moment but it never came
I googled some for some answers which slightly helps but even then the plot is very meh and confusing
The art is gorgeous but that’s this book’s only saving grace. I really only like it for the art :/
