I really liked this one. Excellent rockstar romance. Loved the fake dating and the spice. Loved the banter!

"Dirty Like Me" by Jaine Diamond is the sizzling first installment in a series that takes readers on a rollercoaster ride of desire, romance, and rock 'n' roll. This novel is a captivating blend of a fake-to-real romance trope, where a charming, famous heartbreaker meets a sweet, regular girl, leading to an irresistible love story that leaves you yearning for more.

Jaine Diamond masterfully weaves a narrative that is both sultry and heartfelt. The characters are richly developed, making it easy to fall in love with them. Katie is relatable and endearing, while Jesse exudes an intoxicating mix of allure and vulnerability. Their journey from mere physical attraction to genuine love is both believable and enthralling.

The entire series builds on the promise of "Dirty Like Me," each book diving deeper into the lives and loves of the characters introduced in this first novel. Diamond's ability to create such compelling, lovable characters ensures that readers are invested in their stories from start to finish.

Cute, fluff reading. Little bits of seriousness, tossed in.

The blurb sounded so good, but unfortunately the book was a bit of a let down. From the blurb I thought it was a chance encounter with a random regular girl, but that wasn’t exactly how it happened. I found several places that I thought would have made amazing plot twist (they could have wrecked while driving fast, Maggie his PR girl could have caused serious issues with the way I felt she acted, Zane could have tried to cause more mischief, etc etc)

Unfortunately none of those things happened, and the book went into a typical cliche. The writing was ok, but not great.

Overall nothing great really happened. I am curious about the sister. Maybe I will continue on
