i was not expecting to like this book as much as i did, but it exceeded my expectations! loved the character arcs (and the spice, of course). i predicted a few things throughout the book, but i didn’t mind that because the story was so engaging and i was hooked the entire time. also loved how the author connected characters and their backgrounds from the previous book into this one!
