i read this over vacation so i should re-read it or go back through my tabbed pages for a better review but i remember loving it. i know i had issues with certain things and the spice level was low but it was about falling in love with your best friend. they fell slowly without even realizing and i loved that. i think it was a much better book than the first in the series and i would read it again

I was really enjoying it up until the 50% mark and then it went downhill. In my opinion the fake dating trope was unnecessary, and the last 20% was all about them becoming friends with benefits, having sex everyday and not getting together even though they were both clearly in love with each other. The book could have been wrapped up much sooner, the characters didn’t have much of a personality and the book lost the plot half way though.
