I thoroughly enjoy Lynn Painter's writing style. I love how she incorporates quirky characters and make them oh so loveable. This book fell flat for me with Jack. I found him to be manipulative and quite a baby when he didn't get what he wanted. Instead of using his words, he basically sabotaged his best friend and love interest. It was skimmed over as such a little thing, but to me, there should have been more repercussions. I think there was a way to tell this story and have the main characters act like adults.

Adorable book

Both characters were so loveable. I read this in one sitting, it was an incredible romance. Although I do enjoy fake dating scenarios

I kicked my feet at parts, I laughed, and I felt like it was cute.

Some of the denying feelings, thinking the other person felt differently, and then the third act break up knocked it down a little for me

Overall a fun read!

Loved this book!! Have been getting into rom coms lately, and this one was great!

It was actually funny, and I really loved the characters. It kind of has a trope in it that I don’t like

(third act break up)

, but it was forgivable and very minimal.

Im glad to add another author to my list of go-tos for when I need a quick and enjoyable romance
