i was not in the mood for a romcom but i enjoyed it anyway
i just hate spice ://

The constant conflict was too avoidable for me to thoroughly enjoy this book.
If you're best friends, you've hooked up, you constantly go on dates, you have this perpetual and unavoidable sexual chemistry, and you only ever talk to each other: you're already dating!
I love Lynn Painter's ability to develop and describe a deep romantic relationship between two characters, but every book is the same "We can't be together (even though we technically already are) because I don't want to ruin the friendship, but also let's fake date for some reason at some point during our story, and later I (as the MMC) will neglect to tell you something crucial about our situation that you will inevitably discover (probably because somebody else will tell you), and because you're either going to be or already are mad about this situation that I've caused, I (as the MMC) will ignore you, therefore jeopardizing the so called "fragile" friendship I didn't want to ruin in the first place."
Obviously, this book was no exception.
Points for the relationship building though!

Spice Level: 3.2 Surprisingly suggestive. Not very descriptive.
Great book, terrible ending.
Not a fan of the "we're not gonna communicate even if the world's burning down around us" trope.

**sings** How can we go back to being friends when we just shared a bed?~
Truly, that song lyric was what this book was all about! I love the banters on this. I love and hated the push and pull like I was getting so frustrated with them, I was about to throw hands. Even I was confused along with them. They took TOO long!! But atleast it was still so cute.
