I enjoyed the conversations exchanged between Hallie and Jack, they do seem like fun people to be friends with!

[spoiler alert] I think what ruined it for me was Jack ratting out their bet to Alex. It may seem harmless, but to me it seems like he was just (unintentionally) being a bad sport.

The banter is top notch and. I laughed out loud more than a lot!!

checked this out not realizing it's part of a series (?) but, totally readable as a a standalone. genuinely obsessed with the connection between the two main characters. couldn't stop reading this one. love, love, love.
whatever the hell this trope is god i need more.

immediately checking out all available books by this author, love the way that she writes.
