Fluffy and fun but the plot relied too much on miscommunication for my liking.

Full disclosure, Zachary Webber could narrate a phone book and when I hit 'return' on Libby I'd think "not a waste of my time."

2.5 stars rounded up BUT it wasn’t necessarily that the book was bad, I just wasn’t INTO it. I think it made me realize I do not like books where they are going on multiple dates with different people/dating apps! Idk why I just feel like I wanna skim and that I don’t really care.. I also didn’t fall in love with the characters and felt like I was having to force myself to keep reading it. It took me 13 days because I just wasn’t loving it! Definitely some cute parts and halfway through it got better but just wasn’t for me.

It was cute!!

This book gave me "Set It Up" vibes (the movie) in terms of Jack and Hallie's chemistry.
The first half was not great and both characters were questionable-- you sold this man his engagement ring and you're sleeping with him the next day??-- but by the second half (around the sisters wedding) the tension was really good. I love that they watched pride and prejudice together and that it was referenced later, we love a yearning man.

Could have been spicier

Look Jack is cute but this was so painful like come on u ding bats.
