I will never get bored of exploring books about retelling Greek mythology. because so far they have never disappointed me. and every book I have read suits my taste. so let me tell you my thoughts about electric idol.
This book has my favorite trope :
 • Fake marriage
 • Marriage of convenience
 • Misunderstood hero
 • Curvy heroine
 • He supposed to kill her but eventually fall in love to her
 • She changes him to be a be better man
The chemistry of psyche and eros is kinda can't be denied. they were truly destined to be a couple. I like them better than Hades and Persphone's book. This doesn't mean I hate them. but the love story of psyche and eros is more touching to my heart. and how eros struggles to establish himself for psyche. It truly had an impact on my emotions.
I feel really sad for Eros, because he'd manipulated by her own mother, and make him feel low. How can that someone who should trully love him did something like that. I feel very grateful for him, finally Eros found Psyche. Who never underestimated him and always appreciate and caring to him.
The best part that i loved from this book is when finally Eros got his happy endinf with Psyche, he also found the true meaning of a family. Cause he never experienced it with his own mother. I sincerely happy for this couple. So i give this book good rate 😍😍😍

it was okay.

didn’t have the same chemistry / draw as the first one for me. felt like the writing was really heavy on convos that centred around tactics / strategy which got boring and repetitive so i ended up skimming through a lot of it.

Made it to 52%, chapter 18. I just am not feeling it right now. I would maybe pick it up from the library and quick read to the finish.
