A heartbroken girl wishes away her heart, an a vaguely Satanic figure takes it away to be broken into pieces and redistributed to seven others. She immediately regrets it, and has to spend the rest of the book getting the pieces back. It's sort of like the opposite of hunting for horcruxes from the Harry Potter books.

A quick read that I rather enjoyed. The exact mechanics of how she reclaims the pieces is murky. Sometimes they have to wish it back, but other times she physically takes it. Regardless, the plot kept moving at a good clip.

The artwork is beautiful and the story is so poignant that it will pull at your heart strings...bun dum tiss....Sorry about that. You never know who has parts of your heart and whether or not it is worth it to get it back. How heartless can you be to steal it back?
