This definitely made my top 10 books of the year. It’s so sweet!!! I fell in love with all of the characters!!! It’s got a depth to it that most romance novels don’t. It’s tender and 100% squeaky clean and is just a feel-good story. Definitely recommend!!!

Oof, this was a GOOD one. I am familiar with the author as I have seen The Notebook. So I had some expectations and I’m happy to say those expectations were blown out of the water.
We are talking character development that made me feel as though I knew them and had lived their experiences. A remote, small fishing village by the name of Ocracoke that made me yearn for the slow and simple lifestyle that most people lived there. Plus, travel photography as a profession. The development of Maggie’s passion for photography at a young age made me love this story so much more.
In many ways, I had been so excited to read this book but was having trouble getting my hands on it from the library. I think this story just found me at the right time 💗 Plus, dual timelines as told by Maggie (main character). Also, THE ENDING 🥹😮💨😍
