It was a little cheesy but it’s Nicholas Sparks so that’s to be expected. I don’t care for his teenage girl narrator voice but it was entertaining and Christmas themed at Christmas time.
Nicholas Sparks books are my weakness. I sobbed through this entire book. Just so good.

This was a Nicholas Sparks book in its fullest. This had elements of cute romance, hardships and tragedy, and beautiful connections all through out. This has some similar elements to the Notebook with a past and present timeline, sweet romance, sad ending, and family at the center. This was a beautiful and emotional book. I loved the main characters Maggie Dawes, Bryce Trickett, and Mark Price along with many others. The characters were so enjoyable and lovable. I wished would have liked a happier ending for these characters, but loved the entire journey to it. This book talked about the real struggles people face with cancer, teen pregnancy, love lost, and family lost and found. This book was so good. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to read Nicholas Sparks books but has no idea where to start. I recommend that people that like Colleen Hoover might like some of Nicholas Sparks’ books because they both have romance and deal with real life issues.

3.5 ⭐️ A super cute, sweet, and touching book! I’m not great at predicting plots, but I actually guessed this one, which lowered my score a bit. Also, the chapters were so long. That said, I still enjoyed it!
