It’s been awhile since I’ve read a Nicholas Sparks book. How I have forgotten how emotional and amazing his books are. This book will wreck you but is a must read!
It wasn’t a bad read. I cried a lot. I was able to predict the ending though right off the bat. It was a lucky guess but also somewhat obvious.
Story was great, but as I got towards the end I started to feel like this belonged in Christian Lit more than Fiction.
I have enjoyed every Nicholas sparks novels and this one is no different. It hit home a little as I have a dear friend fighting the endless battle of cancer. I truly loved Maggie and Bryce’s story.
This book has an extremely slow start and it was hard to get into. By the end I was bawling and couldn’t put it down.
Like with every other Nicholas Sparks book in the history of forever - have tissues handy!
Some parts were kinda cringey… 7/10 for that.
Nicholas Sparks uses a lot of the same themes and similar stories in all of his books, which makes them predictable in my opinion.
But this one was still enjoyable and very easy to read! Sometimes he explains things too much, not giving the reader any room to think.

Possibly his best one yet! Definitely in the top 5! I loved it so much I didn't want it to end. I cried so much at the end, always a sign of a favorite book for me is the number of tears I shed!
