A pleasure to read, and very smooth to read as well. "Couldn't put it down" material. I really felt the love and hope of the characters. The only weird thing was a bit of fatphobia but it was brief and mildly self-aware. Excited for the next book!

I read this as research and was a little disappointed by how few aspects of body changing were explained and how many questions were left unanswered. I know it's part of a series but I don't think I was invested enough to continue.
If I don't get into a book by the first couple of chapters I just stop reading and put in my one day pile...
I read this one when I probably would of stopped if I had anything better lined up but hey that's life.
It's okay I read it I didn't hate it but I won't be reading this again. To much internal dialog that is supposed to make you think about life but all you think about is the author telling you what to think, that doesn't leave to much room to form your own opinions and blah blah blah
I also dislike that it could of been so much more they could of made it exciting and interesting and added some action with the twist/ending and made this book rock! But it was just medium paced the whole way through.

I really liked this book. It is such a good representaion of what people and life are like when you only get a glimpse of them and the life they lead. How one minute or day we can judge so much but the next our perspective can change and we can love so hard and unconditionally.
What do you want someone to see if they only knew you for one day? Be the the person you'd want to see if you could see someone for one day.

Interesting concept, decent execution, definitely a YA romance that REALLY pushes the notion of gender as a social construct and organized religion as a drag.
4/5
I think the beginning moved a little too quickly and the love story felt kinda fake because of it but besides that, it was pretty good.

J’aime encore plus le livre que quand je l’ai lu quand j’avais 15 ans that’s a problem
