Greek mythology, turf wars, gangs, this book has it all!
It definetly kept my on my feet till the end, and damn I didn't see that coming!
I cannot wait for book 2!

3.5 Stars rounded up!
I very much enjoyed the book, especially the ending was a surprise and by far not as predictable as I thought/„feared“ halfway through!
I think the author did a great job at explaining the different „powers“ of the other-born that exist in Atlante and repeating them without it feeling repetitive. The World-Building in general was well executed and easy to follow. I also really liked the way the author included queer couples and non-binary people into the story.
I think I would have liked if the story took place over a longer amount of time instead of the week-ish that it does. While it didn‘t feel rushed, i think the relationships and some story developments could have benefited from having a day or two more.
All in all it was a fast paced, enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the next book!

something about the world building here just didn’t make sense and every damn plot twist was so predictable that I just didn’t have patience when it got to it
