The ending was so interesting! There were moments that had me questioning how this girl is meant to be good at her job. There's a couple times that she 'allows' herself to get distracted but we've actually never seen her be good at her job otherwise. Granted, she is young, it's for a younger audience, and we're given an actual reasoning for why she is getting so distracted. By the end of the book, I was so curious as how this going to go from here.

I enjoyed it a lot, I found it a bit predictable at times but couldn’t put it down, so that’s a good book for me. I love the magic system, I have a lot of questions about it, so I hope in the following book (I mean it has to have a second at least) the author can develop more about the different types of magic.
