Everyone here is complaining about the old-timey English but I read the Albanian translation (because I'm Albanian) and it was easy to read! LOL

Good, but the style of writing echoed- no, shouted,- medieval and was sometimes hard to understand.

to be honest I struggled with this
read some passages absentmindedly just because I wanted to be done with it.
the story is good and might be enjoyable for some.

I loved to come back to some of my favorite characters from the Arthurian mythology and the writing was simple to follow (at least the Portuguese translated edition I have). However the plot seemed a little repetitive and predictable at times, and I had to skim read some parts because I was bored. I missed some of the more dark elements that were present in other tales of the legend but I think this is more of a children's book? Anyway it was enjoyable and I recommend it for everyone who loves the mythology surrounding Arthur and his Knights.

Thoughts:
I found this very insightful. As a person who has adored the legend of King Arthur and has researched it many times, I didn’t know what to expect going into the text. I didn’t know if I would dislike it or find it boring. Solely due to knowing too much. However, I throughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook of this text. And loved the way it was written. There is an extra bonus on how beautiful the cover is.

How I read/listened to the text:
Ended up listening to an audio book as a read alongside the novel. Which eventually just lead me to listen to the audio book as I went for a walk. I tend to speed up audiobooks so I finish the text faster than I would have if I just read it (I’m a slow reader).
