Just adore Abercrombie’s writing style. His characters are fantastic and the plot begins to unravel nicely. I know it must frustrate some plot-loving readers as it takes its sweet time to explain everything but once it hits its straps in the final few hours, it’s impossible to put down. Hilarious as ever and yet also moving and packs a punch. Can’t wait for the third.

Didn’t enjoy this as much as the first, I thought that there was a big lull during this one. Some really satisfying parts. Glokta is still my fave but I’m actually liking Ninefingers as well. Sex scenes are written really weird.
